    Set in the '50s, Stand by Me was a touching coming-of-age movie about a group of pre-teen boys. Appropriately, the soundtrack is crammed with early rock & roll hits. The movie may have been nostalgic, but the music on the soundtrack still sounds alive, decades after it was originally recorded.
